Head on over to Carr Winery in downtown Santa Barbara to support their fundraising efforts for Santa Barbara Humane. Their team cares deeply about supporting animals in need so they have organized a fun event benefiting dogs, cats, and the people who love them.
All proceeds from bingo cards will be donated to Santa Barbara Humane, so you could win big on wine while making an impact.

“For over 35 years, on the first Saturday morning after Halloween, the community comes together in front of the Montecito Post Office. We gather equipment, drink coffee, don safety vests, grab pickup sticks, and fan out into our neighborhoods to pick up trash, plant plants, work on trail maintenance, and keep Montecito Beautiful. This is Beautification Day, and it’s followed by a community lunch, cooked and served by our heroic Montecito Fire Department.”

Celebrate the beauty, art, and creativity LGBTQ+ individuals bring to the world. This year’s Pride will focus on access, inclusion, and belonging, ensuring all community members can participate fully in Pride – featuring ASL translation, Spanish interpretation, and more spaces for everyone to be included. This all-day Pride at the Beach event is free to the public and will open with an empowering rally, a full line-up of live entertainment, delicious local food, family-friendly activities, and much more!

Join us for a doggone afternoon of fun at the Miramar Best in Show, a charity dog show benefiting Santa Barbara Humane. Resort guests, locals, and their dogs are invited to enter the competition for a chance to win the ultimate Miramar getaway. Throughout the competition, dogs will be judged based on their personality, spirit, canine beauty, tricks, and talents.

Day in the Park is a fun and family-friendly event held annually at Santa Maria’s Waller Park. This year’s Day in the Park will feature a fishing derby, canine agility demonstrations, Chamber of Commerce Beer Garden, live bands, children’s activities, various food booths, and all-around fun family entertainment. Last year, more than 6,000 people attended this one-day event!
Come visit the Santa Barbara Humane booths. One booth will offer free vaccines, flea treatment, and microchips for animals in attendance. The second booth will be dedicated to training and behavior. At the training booth, there will be a certified trainer on hand to answer behavior and training questions from the public.
In addition, Good Dog Sports will be providing agility demonstrations at the event at Santa Barbara Humane’s behest.

Down with Dogs: SB Humane Charity Class at the Mission Rose Garden
This 60-minute, all-levels yoga class will be lead by Kimberly Zimmerman. Kimberly has been teaching for over a decade and has studied yoga for over 600 hours. Kimberly is the proud owner of a rescue pup, Bella the Wonder Beagle. Bella, Kimberly and the SB Beach Yoga Crew all hope to help dogs find their forever home. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Santa Barbara Humane.
