We know how valuable your time is, and we appreciate your interest in sharing some of it with us. Volunteers like YOU can help enrich the lives of shelter dogs, keep kennels clean, and make adoptions happen each day.
To better serve our animals, volunteer opportunities are currently open to those 16 years or older who can commit to a minimum of two hours per week for 4-6 months at our Santa Barbara or Santa Maria campuses.
As a result of the high volume of volunteer interest, we may not be able to get back to you immediately, however, we will contact you as positions become available. Thank you for your patience.

Enrollment is now closed for volunteers at our Santa Barbara campus this month. However, we still need dog volunteers for the Santa Maria campus! Please check back at the beginning of April, as we will open up new volunteer positions at both campus locations.
