Pregunte por mí
Hi! My name is Coconut and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 7-year-old female Boxer who is eager for a new home! I previously lost my owner and I'm currently on my 100th day being at the shelter. It may be my breed that turns you away, but I promise I'm an amazing companion to have by your side. I'm very playful and energetic, but also know how to settle after giving me a few days of decompression time. I am housetrained and know my cues, "sit" "stay" "shake" - I also love to cuddle! I would prefer to share my home with only my humans because as a puppy, my previous owner reported that my ear was chewed off by a dog who attacked me. You should take the time to come meet me, I'm sure you will fall in love with how good I am and wonder the same thing as to why I've been here for so long!
Ready to adopt or want to hear more about me? The shelter is open by appointment only Sunday through Saturday. Just email [email protected] to make an appointment today!
When you take your new pet home, he or she will have been spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, provided with a permanent microchip identification and a certificate for a free veterinary exam. Our partners at Purina brand dog and cat food also provide food to get you home.
Transfer of animals may be available between our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Campuses. If an animal you would like to meet is at the campus further away from you, just let us know when you email, and we will be in touch with you if a transfer is available. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
