Adopt a dog or cat

Due to COVID-19, all adoptions are by appointment only with scheduled visits available between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily.

Santa Barbara Humane is here for you when you’re ready to add to your family. The team is available to answer your calls and emails between the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM every day.

To schedule an adoption appointment:
Select the animal you’d like to meet, then click “Ask About Me” and complete the contact form. Once received, a team member will give you a call and share insights and characteristics about the dog or cat you could bring to your family.

For general questions, email [email protected] or call 805-964-4777.
