Hi! My name is Stella and I am a 6-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Calling me a snuggle bug is an understatement! In fact, families have taken me home and didn't realize I always like to be by your side so they brought me back. I LOVE my people. I love people so much that I don't want to share you with other pets in the home. If you work at home I will keep your feet warm while you hold zoom meetings. If you like walks, I will go with you. When I am with my people I am very calm and relaxed, but I get scared when I am alone. I take medication to help me so I need a family who really gets me. Is this home with you? Or does someone else come to mind? Won't you help me find my new family? Ready to adopt or want to hear more about me? The shelter is open by appointment seven days a week! Just email [email protected] to make an appointment today! When you take your new pet home, he or she will have been spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, provided with a permanent microchip identification and a certificate for a free veterinary exam. Our partners at Purina brand dog and cat food also provide food to get you home. Transfer of animals may be available between our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Campuses. If an animal you would like to meet is at the campus further away from you, just let us know when you email, and we will be in touch with you if a transfer is available. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
