Well hello there! My name is Bella, and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 4-year-old, female, American Pit Bull Terrier/Australian Shepherd mix who would do best in a home with no small children or other animals. When I see you, I just can't stop wiggling-I love people way too much! I'll be great as an only dog, and preferably with someone who has some experience handling dogs. I'll be an amazing companion for a family with older children. Whatever you like doing, I like too! Love to frolic on the beach? Let me be your frolic friend! Love to snuggle? Let me be your bed buddy! If you would like someone you can bond very deeply with, I'm all that and much more. I look to make a strong connection. Once we make that special connection, you're the entire world to me. Who wouldn't love a friend like that! Ready to adopt or want to hear more about me? The shelter is open by appointment seven days a week! Just email [email protected] to make an appointment today! When you take your new pet home, he or she will have been spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, provided with a permanent microchip identification and a certificate for a free veterinary exam. Our partners at Purina brand dog and cat food also provide food to get you home. Transfer of animals may be available between our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Campuses. If an animal you would like to meet is at the campus further away from you, just let us know when you email, and we will be in touch with you if a transfer is available. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
